Summary: Frank is not happy about how Gerard is not near him, and after what seemed to be a calm conversation he ends up confessing more things that the one he though he could say. (Oh and there’s no Jamia or anything like that for this fic’s sake)

this came out watching the Halloween show with

lauchis and noticing how Gerard is all the time near Ray, but he apparently forgets that he has another guitarist in the other side ¬¬.

Frank loves the idea of doing a show in his birthday. It’s probably silly for most of the people, but he finds it amusing and exciting.

“Hey, everyone ready?” Brian asks at some point, making Frank nervous, because shows always make him nervous.

“No,” Gerard answer, but he is rolling his eyes because for the past twenty minutes he has been bothering Brian to come out already.

“Well, we can make them wait a bit if you want,” Brian smirks and Gerard glares at him, which makes Frank laugh, because Gerard’s glares used to be effective with the long black hair, and now those are plain cute.

“Let’s go,” Ray ends up saying, and Frank decides that Ray is a fun killer.
While walking to the stage Frank’s usual before-show questions start in his head… ‘Would the kids scream a lot?’ ‘Would they sing a long?’ ‘Would Gerard jump?’ ‘Would Mikey be in the back?’ ‘Would Bob get mad if I go to bother him?’ ‘Would Ray make his funny jumps?’ … ‘Would Gerard come near me and share my mic?’

He smiles sadly at the last one, since the whole “The Black Parade” thing Gerard is more controlled in the scenery. Okay, not that much, more like he’s too professional or something. There’s less jumps and mostly, there’s less touching and playing around with him. That was something that Frank used to love, he loves it still, he thinks, but he misses it most now.

“Hey, man,” Gerard says near him.

“Uh?”

“Let’s rock the motherfucking place for your birthday,” and he smiles and kisses Frank’s cheek just like he does every time. Frank giggles, in a very masculine way of course, and nods;

“Yes, lets,”

They go on after that, and Frank thinks again how marvellous idea it is doing a show on his birthday.

It’s around the half of the show when Frank notices that Gerard hasn’t come to him at all. No even near him, which he usually does a lot. Normally he’ll go around him, smile a bit and go back to his place. But today the singer has been around Ray the whole fucking night.

‘Today of all days,’ Frank thinks bitterly to himself, while playing harder in his guitar.

He is mad; the whole thing makes him mad, he was so glad about this at the beginning. The only attention Gerard had given him ‘till now was when he said that it was Frank’s birthday.

Frank hisses, knowing that no one can notice this, and thinks that he’s not going be a typical attention-whore like in every show throwing himself at the floor or jumping over Bob’s drums. He’s going to put his soul (and the mix of anger and sadness that he’s not very sure why he’s feeling) in this performance as usual.

“Mind-Blowing guys,” Brian congratulates them when they’ve finished. Everyone is laughing and nodding and talking about stupid things.

“You were really calm,” Bob says to Frank, “I secured my drum better for you to jump on,”

Frank smiles a bit, Bob is considerate like that, “Thanks,” he says. But he doesn’t comment about Bob’s first line.

“You okay, man?” the drummer asks, eyeing him cautiously.

“Yeah,” Frank nods, “I’m just getting old,”

Bob laughs a bit at that, “Don’t be an idiot, Gerard and Ray are getting old, you’re still enjoying your twenty-something’s,” Frank really wants to laugh at that, but the only thing that gets out is a soft almost shy chuckle.

When he’s ready to leave, checking that he has his cigarettes, he notices that he’s not the only one in the dressing room.

“What’s up?” he asks Gerard, who’s apparently concentrated on some paper either writing or drawing.

“The guys decided that you were taking forever,” he explains, not looking up from what he is doing, “So they left, I stayed because I’m a good friend.”

Frank rolls his eyes and thinks that there are a lot of better excuses and that if Gerard had used his creative mind (which Frank knows that Gerard has) he could have come up with something better. “I thought I said I didn’t want a party.”

Gerard, this time, does look up, and for a second Frankie thinks he’s going to deny the existence of a party, but the singers just gives him a small smile and goes back to what he was doing.

Frank rolls his eyes again, “Come on, let’s go.”

“Just a second,” Gerard states.

“Don’t we have to be there at—?”

“There!” Gerard interrupts him jumping up and offering Frank the paper in which he had been so infatuated with.

Frank takes it, a bit confused, and pays attention to it. It’s a drawing of him. It’s Frank in his Black Parade clothes, playing his guitar but…

“Uh, why my does Gibson says Pansy?” He asks Gerard, it’s actually the first thought in his head, and he wants to kick himself for it. Besides that, actually mostly with that, the drawing is perfect. “I mean, it’s amazing, yeah, but…”

“I liked that guitar,” Gerard shrugs, “and you are a pansy.”

“Hey!” Frank complains, but not really paying a lot of attention, because his eyes are back at the drawing.

“I guess you like it. You’re almost drooling over it, I’m assuming I did a good job,” Gerard says, a few minutes latter.

“Arrogant fucker,” Frank says back, but he smirks.

“Oh, I’m hurt, Frankie,” he giggles, walking to the door, but he stops just if he had remembered something, “Are you okay now?”

“Uh?” Frank asks mystified.

“Well, you were very weird at the show,”

“How would you know? You weren’t near me,” that came out before Frank can actually stop it. He curses in his mind, because everything was okay, and the drawing had made it very okay, and he had to ruin it.

“What?”

“Nothing,” Frank answers, there’s a small hope in him.

“I don’t know how to take that,” he says.

“Nothing, its just nothing Gee,” he explains, “Now let’s go, we’re probably late.”

“We’re not going anywhere until you explain what that fucking sentence is supposed to signify.”

“Gerard, leave it, I’m tired and bitchy it’s just that,”

“Frank you’re always bitchy, and I’ve see you more tired before,” Gerard clarifies, “but you’ve never sounded like a fucking upset girlfriend or something,”

Frank gasps at the comparison “A what?!”

“Well, you did.” Gerard hisses, “What’s your problem? Just be happy, it’s your birthday,”

“Not anymore,” Frank says, glancing at his watch.

“Don’t be stupid.”

“Whatever Gerard, let’s go.” Frank advances towards him, but the other man doesn’t move.

“No, you’re telling me what the fuck is wrong.”

“I’m wrong, now Gerard please.”

“After that answer you’re expecting me to leave this subject?”

“I’m not expecting you to do anything that I want you to do Gerard.” he says.

“What?”

“Let’s fucking GO!” Frank is not in a mood to keep fighting, or to keep talking. He wants to go to wherever they have to go, and maybe get wasted or something and go back to his hotel room and spend the rest of the night staring at the drawing that Gerard did.

“No, tell me,” Gerard says, he also sounds quite upset, “What to you want?”
Frank thinks everything is out already. He had acted like an idiot, and he has fought with one of his best friends, why not make the things worse?

“You really want to know what I want Gerard?” he asks, and his voices is not the angry scream that was before. Now it’s husky and has dropped a few notes down.

“Yes!” Gerard throws his hands in the air swiftly bringing them back down to his side.

“Fine,” Frank says, and he’s close to Gerard’s face, very close, before answering, “I want you to touch me, to stroke me, to tease me… I want your pretty rose lips sucking me off, making me scream your fucking name so loud that everyone can hear me.” He stops there, his eyes never leaving Gerard’s shocked ones, “I want your fucking dick up my ass and I want you to come, screaming my name, inside of me, making me come with you, for you.”

“Frankie, I—”

“You don’t have to say anything, Gerard,” he says, backing off a few steps, and walking ahead to the door. Leaving Gerard there, bewildered and stunned.
